JUNIORS

Summer Programs

Our Summer Season offers opportunities for Middle and High school age athletes to learn about rowing for the first time, or continue their training through the Summer in anticipation of Fall Season, or heading off to row in college.

Yellow Group

The Yellow Group is for athletes in grades 6-8 that want to learn the fundamentals of rowing without the pressure of racing. Athletes have the option to attend all home regattas and participate in the Percy Priest Cup Series. Practice options are Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday with the option of attending all four days. 8th graders have the option to join either team based on the level of commitment they are looking for. No experience is needed!

Blue Group

The Blue Group is for athletes in grades 8-12. This group focuses on the daily process of training the whole athlete (mentally, physically and emotionally) with the end goal of racing at the local, regional and national levels. In order to achieve these goals, it is expected that athletes attend all or at least the vast majority of practices. No experience is needed!
