LEARN TO ROW
Nashville Rowing's Adult Learn-to-Row Weekends are for adults of any age, size, and interest who want to try rowing for the first time. Our sessions tend fill up quickly and participation is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but we do periodically add more opportunities, so check the registration page!
The goal of our Adult Learn-to-Row program is to provide the opportunity for adults to do just as the name says: learn how to row! In each session, the group will have a chance to learn about the verbiage and equipment, as well as learn the fundamentals of the rowing stroke.
Adult Learn-to-Row weekends will be run out of the Hamilton Creek Marina on Percy Priest Lake

What does my Learn-to-Row experience lead to if I want to continue rowing?
After learn to row, working with out coaches on the best place for you to land is the next step. If you follow the entire cycle of adult rowing in our club, you can go from a completely new rower to racing down the course at Masters Nationals within a year or two!
If you wish to continue rowing after learning to row on the water, you can join our regularly scheduled Development Program which practices twice a week. Now you’re a part of the Nashville Rowing Family with multiple avenues to continue your journey of individual fitness, competition, or just plain fun on the water!
Even if you start in the winter, this option becomes available to you once you pick up rowing in a boat in the spring!
